CooCE partners involved: ELGO, QLab

As part of the dissemination activities for the project’s research results, organized visits were held at the ELGO-DIMITRA demo site in Thermi, Thessaloniki during the last year of the project. These visits received considerable public interest, particularly for the guided tours of the pilot-scale anaerobic reactor and biomethanation unit facilities. These systems demonstrate the production of biogas and its upgrading to biomethane. Visitors expressed strong enthusiasm, highlighting that this pilot model provided an exceptional opportunity for direct engagement with a practical example of circular economy implementation. The visits to the demo site attracted a diverse audience, including individual citizens, industrial stakeholders, and young scientists from institutions such as the International Hellenic University, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and the American Farm School. Visitors were informed about the objectives and outcomes of the CooCE project and had the chance to gain hands-on experience with technologies central to the circular economy
