In the Workshop titled “Harnessing CO₂ for sustainable CCUS value chains: The CooCE concept” held in Bologna (Italy) at the 31^st European Biomass Conference from 5-8 June 2023, Dr. Diaz-Chavez, Dr. Evans, Dr. Giarola and Prof. Morosinotto attended, presented and engaged stakeholders to discuss on Carbon Capture Use and Storage (CCUS) technologies, focusing on the CooCE project and on biotechnological platforms for the conversion of CO₂ into upgraded biofuels for transportation, along with valuable chemicals and high-volume biopolymers for bioplastic production for the packaging industry.
